What Is AI Assist?

Hospice Tools AI Assist uses artificial intelligence to review hospice documentation, including CTIs (Initial Written Certifications of Terminal Illness), and provide QA-style feedback—before and after submission.

This isn’t a generic chatbot or AI trying to write your documentation. We believe that certifications should be written by physicians, guided by clinical expertise and regulatory standards—not auto-generated by a computer. AI Assist doesn’t replace your team — it supports your team.

What It Does (and Doesn’t Do)

✅ Compares them to Comprehensive Assessments (including prior assessments for readmissions)
✅ Generates a score (1–100) with plain-language reasoning and recommendations
✅ Provides feedback pre-submission, helping improve compliance from the start

✅ Integrates seamlessly into your existing workflow—no extra vendors, logins, or costs

Why We Built It

Our teams came from hospice. We’ve been nurses, billers, administrators, and QA reviewers. We know what it’s like to catch a missing element too late — or to wish you had one more set of eyes on a CTI before submission.

AI Assist was designed to be that extra layer of support. It’s like having a QA assistant working 24/7, giving you insights in real-time, helping reduce errors, and  strengthening compliance.
